The Department of Education has confirmed changes to reporting from 2027 and supplied a sample report template to show what it might look like. Is there a timeline of when updates might be available?

Please create a template that matches the new DET format https://content.sdp.education.vic.gov.au/media/option-1-primary-model-report-3586 as for this semester (Semester 2, 2026)we will be moving to this by Semester 1, 2027 anyway.

Add an action to email families who have not viewed their child's report (similar to the Conference and Enrolments "Email parents who have not booked" function).

Can an option be created in the Reporting Cycle Administrator that allows admins to turn off Learning Task comments from being pushed to reports, rather than doing it manually through each learning task.

It would be great to be able to toggle on Semester Reports in the APP favourites screen for parents. It is currently not available, but I would really like to see it there :)

Could you please enable class teachers to download their own sets of Report PDFs once the reporting cycle has been completed? This would save double handling on the part of the school Compass Administration Manager.

Learning tasks sync across to semester reports, but they don't appear on the data entry page when entering in semester reports data. It would be helpful to see the components from the learning tasks that are being copied across to help make judgements for the overall semester. For example, you are putting a progression point in, so it would be helpful to see the results from the learning tasks across the semester to then decide the progression point

NOTE: We use School Bytes to create events. Now that we are including events on our reports, it would be good to have the ability to change the display name of an event within the reporting cycle. It would also be useful to be able to REMOVE students from an event that they did not attend (and were under no obligation to attend), so they don't have the event displaying on their report with an "absent" note.

Some elements give you the option to edit the name whereas other don't. The specific one we want to be able to edit is School Attendance (Result Table) is the specific one that we want to change, but I don't see why all could not be editable.

In Semester Reports when importing elements from another subject, the list provided does not indicate which year the subject resides in. If you were wanting to import a particular year's information, it is hard to pinpoint the year in question from the list as it only lists the subject multiple times over. Can the year levels be added to this option? E.G. Product Design and Technologies Year 9. Or is there a better way of importing the elements?
