We would like to suggest the following improvements be considered for future development of the PD module. • Itemised cost breakdown rather than a single lump sum, including an indication of whether each component is required. • Option to select a daily rate (in addition to hourly) as teacher compensation is based on a daily rate. Travel-related expenses, such as: (with the option to input a custom rate or use a school-defined preset limits) o Flights o Accommodation o Mileage • Course registration fees • Taxi costs (estimated) • Hire car costs (estimated) • Additional claims, such as meals Regional schools are often required to coordinate flights and accommodation for professional development and this information impacts our consideration for approvals, having these components integrated into the platform would be beneficial for having all information in one place.

mandatory to add one session minimum to as PD appplication before being able to submit for approval

I have had a request from the college leadership to have an option where school business (meetings and such) can be be pre approved in the same way as professional development. I have set upt a teplate for this under the professional development module, but the college leadership would like it to be visibly different from PD so that the processes are not confussed.

please consider allowing custom questions for staff before the PD is approved. We previously had a opne stop shop where we could get all the info required i.e. accommodation, travel etc. now we do not have an easy way of getting this info.

Add the option to assign a host for a PD session. Who can then add staff to the PD and mark the role. At the moment our administration team enter all PD sessions to the calendar and teaching staff are unable to add staff or mark the roll for the sessions they are hosting.

When printing your own professional development certificate, is it possible to have a date range? Currently it prints a certifcate with all the years. You may just need a certificate for 2025.

Can we remove the internal and external buttons on the PD template and make it a drop down box instead. It is confusing for staff when templates are labelled external and internal.

Staff to be able to receive the alert when the current certifcation is about to expire. Helps staff to stay on the top of their certification. Such as YMHFA / first aid etc.
