We want to have the ability for teachers to be added to a connect chat group and then be able to delete messages. We don't however, want teachers to be able to create chat groups. At present I think to have the ability to delete you need to have the ability to create. The reason for this is so teachers can't create a 1:1 chate with a student, but if they want a chat group with a team, class etc and a student in that group posts something unhelpful, the teacher in the space can delete the message.

Could I request please that the limit of the number of users increase from 100. Also too that we have the ability to turn on of off the ability for parents to post to a group, ie give them read only access. A use case for us would be to give parents updates whilst their kids are on a camp. A quick and way for teachers to post messages and proof of life photos without the clutter of 200 parents commenting on each post. This would be a very valuable way to achieve this goal within the school's ecosystem.

It would be great if notifications were a sound, or an on-screen push notification for Compass Connect to alert parents / carers to a new message.

Request to block parents from sending messages outside school hours. If they do send a message outside school hours it is scheduled and sent to the staff member at the start of the next school day.

I'd like for parents to be able to contact specific teachers (wellbeing staff, leadership etc.) who are not assigned to their childs class through Compass connect. I'd also like to search for parents who's names i dont yet know using their childs name when clicking on new chat. And finally, id like an option to be able to send just one parent a message, not both everytime.

We would like notifications to be enabled for the connect part of compass so when we are chatting in the staff group chats we have made, we can get notifications on our phones straight away for the staff that dont have a computer open throughout the day

We have had another issue with this creating problems - especially today when Connect is not letting staff message in the correct thread. This is creating serious problems with privacy.

I would like know who the student is, when the parents send me messages in Connect. I do not know all of the parent names, so every time I get a message from a parent, I need to open up another Compass tab and do some research before I can find out which student I need to talk about.

I have been informed by the service desk, Connect Chat groups remain if a teacher leaves, exposing students to an unmanaged and unfiltered chat room. There should be no groups active if there are no active staff members. Audit tools to oversee this and the chats occurring would be greatly appreciated too.
