Organisation-Based Accounts Instead of Individual Organiser Ownership
CompassTix really needs proper organisation-based account management, rather than having everything tied to individual users. A school should be able to register as an organisation, with multiple staff members able to manage events under that school, while the school itself retains ownership of everything. For example, a school's Events Coordinator might have created the original organiser account and managed years of events before leaving. Currently, that account is still tied to their name and email. While you can change the email, it has to be one that's never been used with CompassTix before, and you're still stuck with the original person's name. So to keep the school's event history, you're essentially having to reuse a former employee's account. It also gets messy when other staff have already created their own organiser accounts, as they then can't be added as collaborators to another account. You end up with multiple accounts representing the same school, potentially with different billing details, contact information and events scattered across them. Ideally, a school would just have one organisation account, with administrators who can add or remove staff and assign appropriate permissions. Staff should be able to belong to multiple organisations, and existing accounts and events should be able to be brought under the school's organisation. The main thing is that the school should own its events, history and billing information, not whichever staff member happened to set up the account originally.

CompassTix Usher App Glitch
Dear CompassTix IT Team, We recently hosted an event at the College, and we implemented a ticketed entry system requiring guest check-ins via QR code scanning via your CompassTix Usher App. Unfortunately, we encountered significant issues with the scanning app, which caused frustration and confusion during the event. Key Issues: • When multiple barcodes appeared on a single page, the system scanned all barcodes simultaneously without indicating the number scanned. • For bookings with multiple tickets (e.g., 7 barcodes), the system initially scanned 2 but failed to recognize subsequent barcodes. Hovering over another barcode displayed an error stating the ticket was already scanned. • This caused difficulties in verifying whether guests had entered using their tickets or those of family members. The event had over 200 attendees (previously the same issues with our graduation event with over 600 attendees), the challenges disrupted the smooth flow of the event. Suggested Improvements: 1. Implement functionality to display the exact number of tickets scanned in each scan. 2. Provide a running tally of the total tickets scanned for the event organisers know how many guests were admitted at the end of the day. This issue was raised previously last November but seems to not have changed or the app has not been upgraded/improved to address the issues. We kindly request that this issue be addressed as a matter of urgency to ensure a seamless experience for future events. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
