It would be wonderful to be able to have different staff on different days for a group activity instead of creating separate group activities per staff member. Eg. we have lunch detention with Staff A on Monday, Staff B on Tuesday etc. and at the moment it has to sit with one staff member which means parents email that staff member questioning them.

It would be great if we could create a single event and add multiple sessions within it for different supervision times, with the ability to allocate staff to specific sessions.

It would also be useful to be able to add concurrent sessions within the same event that occur at the same time but in different locations.

Instead of the need for multiple events being created when different teachers are needed for the same event but at different times, there should be an option to add teachers to separate sessions in the one event

The ability to have multiple sessions for an event and assign students and staff to individual sessions with their own rolls.

This would also help with events that have a large number of students attending and marking the roll via the Compass App, as staff would not need to scroll through a large list of students and instead only on the individual sessions or group of students they are looking after.

It would be incredibly helpful and time-saving if Compass allowed staff to be assigned to individual sessions within a single event.

Currently, events such as incursions often span multiple periods, with students remaining in place while different staff members rotate in and out across sessions. However, the existing event setup assigns staff for the entire duration, rather than allowing for session-specific allocations. As a result, the only workaround is to create separate events for each period with updated staffing—an inefficient solution for what is essentially one continuous event.

Introducing the ability to assign staff per session within a single event would streamline scheduling, reduce duplication, and better reflect the actual structure of multi-period activities.
