At the moment, a room booked in Resource Manager still shows as free (green) in Room Swap, so other staff can move their class into it without any warning or notification to the person who made the booking. This leads to double bookings, with classes turning up to rooms that have already been reserved. The only current fix is enabling “Multiple Teachers per Instance” to turn off Room Swap, but that change is permanent and affects rolls and Daily Organisation, which isn’t practical for many schools. It would be great if Room Swap treated Resource Manager bookings as occupied, or at least blocked or warned about a clash and notified the original booker, so schools can use both features together without rooms being double booked.
