The recent popups messages and features within the compass window are prevent me access to the items on the page. there is no indication as to retrive these messages once they are closed.

Perhaps an Alert icon along the top of the page to show these would be more appropriate.

Perhaps you could also put the blue circle 'how can we help' in the same area and keep it out of my screen workspace.
