Parents often struggle to keep track of school events, excursions, and deadlines using only the Compass portal or limited notifications. This creates unnecessary stress and increases the chance of missed activities.

I would love to see Compass provide parents with programmatic access to this information, either through:

• An enhanced iCal feed that includes all relevant school events (including child-specific excursions and requirements), or

• A secure parent-level API that exposes the same information.

This would allow parents to integrate school information directly into personal calendars, digital assistants, or family planning tools.

Benefits:

• Parents: improved organisation, reduced stress, fewer missed activities.

• Schools: fewer repetitive questions from parents, improved engagement.

• Compass: strengthens its reputation as a modern, integrated school platform.

This feature would make a huge difference for families and should be a priority for future development.
