Phase two is displaying the flags on the student profiles - I have a feeling this will expose a number of data discrepdanices between old & new processes - so we are going to roll this out with schools in a phased approach.

It is ready for Pilot now - would you like this to be enabled for your school now?discrepancies

Jerome Muldoon I'm looking forward to the flags - that will be great. Is there a way to export this data eg. I want a list of everyone with or without permission so I can work with our school magazine team on photos to exclude, rather than having to look up individual students?

Jerome Muldoon Great news - knowing it will be exposed somewhere helpful informs that it is worth putting effort in to make the data accurate. We didn't want to update over 2000 records if the effort was going to be wasted. I'll reach out via E-Mail when we're ready. Thank you mate.

Jerome Muldoon Thanks. We're not recording this in CASES at the moment (just using an Insights cycle and didn't want to double handle the data) but knowing this function exists, we will migrate our data over early in 2026.

Cameron DENHAM I think there are a lot of schools in a very similar position - hence our phased approach here - we did not want to add to the confusion! :)

Full comms will be sent once the flags are enabled - likely in Term 1, 2026

Yes - Seeing a screenshot of what these flags look like would be very helpful.

Gillian LEE Hi Gill - you will see this flag appear with all of the other roll flags, on the roll, student profile, etc.

Scott DUNCAN Hi Scott, Screenshot attached - you also get a message when you hover over the flag to indicate the photo permission.

Essentially no flag will appear if there are no restrictions, - a flag will appear for restrictions.

Sue LEVY Hi Sue, Yes - you should see the flags enabled in your portal - if you look at a student which has a photo restriction this should be appearing on their profile.

Jerome Muldoon so will the flag utlimately list EXACTLY what they have not consented to? ours all say 'media' only, even if they have not consentef to any of the three... thanks

Jerome Muldoon good morning! I can see the flag now but what happens if students have one field yes and others no? As there are 3 separate fields... The student I have trialled has all 3 fields as N at the moment.
