Adding CLASS as an option in the quick create section would make this a fantastic implementation

This would be amazing. At the moment we create an event but have multiple sessions spread across different weeks. It would be great to add a different teacher to each session rather than one teacher for the whole event. We always need to create different events just so we can add a different teacher to each one.

It would be really useful and timesaving to be able to create multiple sessions within an event and then have the option to add different attendees to each session rather than the event as a whole.

I recently ran a science leadership activity where a dozen year 9 & 10 students did a training day (session 1), then they presented to 40 junior students (session 2) but we had to have me attending 3 'excursions' on the same day because we needed the parents of the older students to know that it was 2 days/sessions (not choose one or the other) and the younger ones also had different lessons in the day.
If we could have a roll for each session, that would be wonderful!

Agree with Maryanne. The possibility to create an event, but with individual rolls for specific groups (classes, yearlevels ect.) would be amazing. At the moment our amazing admin staff dupliacte the event for every class (i.e 2A Swimming Carnival) when an event has multiple classes attending. Individual rolls within an event would minnimise the additional work load

Unless they setup enrollment bounds within an Event for longer term programs you may be better off setting up an Alternate Timetable in Compass via Subjects and Classes.
Make sure the Alternate Timetable is not on your Timetable (Synchronised) layer however. However this does not help if you want multiple teachers on each group unless you have done the impact analysis of having a one-way back end setting changed.

Totally agree with Travis.
Not being able to create sessions with unique students causes issues. Eg a large event eg school swimming carnival, the event need to be duplicated and students added by year Level, otherwise it is impossible to mark the roll due to the large number of students.
The other example is an event running over multiple weeks. Not being able to add students for the corresponding weeks is an issue if students leave or enrolled mid term.

Maryanne Chant - CEDWW (CENET)Running over weeks became a big issue back in 2020/2021 when events were used to handle attendance with Remote - I had to manually resolve attendance on at least a dozen students changing enrolment mid-term.

Maryanne Chant - CEDWW (CENET) this would also be amazing for things like ICAS testing sessions or even NAPLAN sessions. We could set up an event and then have the actual sessions be unique. This would make things easier to manage permissions and/or payments, these could be all in 1 place but the individual sessions can be set up and customisabile with students, staff and rooms. At the moment we have massive spreadsheets that we use to track permissions for ICAS and this would solve so much time on admin
