Hi Jerome, where do I find that? I could only find Groups in Events. I've used KAMAR in NZ for almost 20 years so I'm struggling to discover what Compass can and cannot do.

Rob THORNLEY: Hi Rob, 
You may need permissions to see the section - however it is in People Management > Custom Groups. 
Here you can create ad-hoc groups of students by just adding in their names, you get a profile page to track their attendance statistics and the ability to easily communicate with these students and their families.

Are you aware of Custom Groups? 
This allows you to create custom groups of students for communications, etc.
