At the moment, there are lots of great features in Compass to support schools in an emergency but they are all located in seperate modules\areas of Compass.
I am suggesting having an Emergency Page\Portal that allows you to
  • Generate a SMS\Push using one of the templates
  • Turn the emergency banner
  • Generate Daily Summary\Emergency Roll\Create emergency event roll.
The page could be accessed via the Quick Actions page and access could be managed with the appropriate permissions.
