Ability to create recurring meetings

A way to set up meetings without attendance associated would be even better so staff can have their meetings displayed in Compass. The calendar is not suitable for this and generating attendance is also not suitable unless a student is involved.

You have to be careful with recurring meetings as they are linked to attendance. If you recurringly schedule a meeting for a student and they don't attend, they are counted as "attended" by default and may be accidentally accounting for student attendance inaccurately. I think meetings need to be used cautiously. I would not advocate for the addition of recurring meetings for the negative risks associated with accounting for student attendance.

Perhaps the most half baked module in compass. I would have thought that recurring meetings was a key component of any meeting management software. I would love to see recurring meetings!
An additional beneficial feature would be the option of having recurring agenda items in a recurring meeting. eg. Child safety & OH&S reminders at every staff meeting.

David Hawthorn I think your idea of meetings and how they should be used is very different to the actual functionality of the meetings in Compass. If you want to use meetings for staff meetings/parent meetings etc with agendas this is a whole different function/purpose than Compass Meetings in its current state

Riki Wood (DLCS) I believe they are referring to the Minutes Module which is aimed specifically at staff and has the ability to have agendas and action items. This module does not have the ability to create recurring meetings or bookings. Which is something that should have been included when they released the module
